Dupont Circle, D.C. is a neighborhood that has something to offer to everyone. It’s collection of museums, landmarks, galleries, shops, bars, and restaurants bring a unique clash of culture and history creating an atmosphere that can fascinate anyone. One thing you will find no shortage of in Dupont Circle is an excellent selection of weekend brunch locations. We, at Loople, have decided to highlight some of our favorite brunches in Dupont Circle that never fail to provide an exceptional dining experience.
Located at 1527 17th Street, is a Turkish restaurant dedicated to bringing Mediterranean flavor alive in their food. Agora’s weekend brunch, beginning at 11 am, offers an incredible assortment of vegetables, cheeses, and spices, which there is a hint of in each dish. It is not easy to come by a restaurant which so perfectly captures the style of cuisine they aim for the way Agora does. They offer a bottomless brunch special for $35, allowing you to take advantage of their full menu along with unlimited morning drinks.
Located at 1615 Rhode Island Avenue, Beacon Bar and Grill serves a three course brunch with unlimited drinks on Saturdays, and a Brunch Buffet on Sunday, with unlimited drinks included as well. Beacon Bar and Grill provides a beautiful dining room with an inviting décor and delicious food to complement it. Definitely keep your eyes open for the specials which change each month, ranging from unlimited champagne to remarkable discounts on select meals. Beacon Bar and Grill does well to satisfy every customer’s appetite whether Sunday’s buffet or Saturday’s 3 course brunch, starting at $30.
Located at 1624 Q Street. Hank’s Oyster serves a refreshing selection of New England beach fare classic, specializing in bringing the flavors of the North Eastern coast to you. The restaurant, which is no stranger to recognition (nominations for “Best New Restaurant”-2008, “Best Neighborhood Restaurant”- 2012), offers an incredible two course brunch special for $35 beginning at 11am on the weekends. The first course gives you the choice between a meal of Oysters, Granola, Almonds & Yogurt, and Lobster Bisque, or a Seasonal Salad along with Seafood Ceviche and Bacon Deviled Eggs. The next course gives you the choice between several dishes, featuring cuisine such as Smoked Salmon Reuben, Steamed Mussels, Oyster Po’Boy and much more. The two courses allow a perfect blend of morning seafood options along with the traditional brunch items we all know and love. No seafood enthusiast will leave Hank’s Oysters disappointed.
A neighborhood restaurant located at 2100 P Street. The thing which separates Scion’s brunch from the others in Dupont Circle is their passion for craft beer. Along with brunch cocktails, Scion is one of the few locations you will find that serves craft beers during their brunch hours, offering something other restaurants do not. Scion possesses a warm and welcoming atmosphere that takes their family owned restaurant and its values and translates it into the food. With an extensive menu and an option of unlimited brunch cocktails for $15, Scion will fulfill any brunch goer’s needs and more.
Located at 1639 R street. Level One sets itself apart from the other brunches around town by keeping it simple, and doing that right. If you’re the type of person who would enjoy a nice waffle, some crispy French toast or classic breakfast burger along with the options of salad, cheeses, or delicately assorted vegetables, than level One is for you. They serve brunch at 10am on Saturday and 11am with a recognizable menu of pancakes, sausages, home fries and the sort. And, of course, Level One also offers the option of endless select brunch drinks, giving the choice between bottomless mimosas, poinsettias, or Bloody Mary's for $17.
