Favorite Neighborhoods: "Little Italy"
- Maybe it is the Italian side of me that feels at home in a place like this but "Little Italy" always holds a warm place in my heart. I find myself walking these streets on beautiful summer nights under flickering lights with a belly full of pasta and an overstuffed cannoli in hand. Something about "Little It" always reminds me of home. On those rough weeks when nothing was going right I stop by for a hearty bowl of pasta bolognese, a bold red wine, and sweet desert to calm my soul. It will always remind me of family.
Our Favorite Spots:
"La Scala," "Isabella's," "Chiapparelli's," "Vacarro's Italian Pastry Shop"
Favorite Neighborhoods: "Greektown"
- Much of the Greek culture is in the heart of Baltimore's history and I'm proud to say how much I've learned throughout the years. Whether I'm attending the annual "Greek Festival" which just happened in early June or making homemade "Spanakopita" I love the flavor of Greece. This section of the city is even great for delivery with places like "Greektown" just a short drive outside of Canton. I find myself ordering up for a classic lamb gyro many times when I'm sitting at places like "Baltimore Tap House," which doesn't have a kitchen but has a 6 inch wide "menu" of nearly every delivery spot in Baltimore.
Our Favorite Spots: "Samos," "Greektown,"Zorba's"
Favorite Neighborhoods: "Fells Point"
- This section of the city is by far my most frequented. Nothing beats the incredible feeling after finishing a handmade Koopers burger and a few pints of local craft beer. I can't ever tell if its the brews or burger that's messing with my sobriety. Sit outside in this section of the city and enjoy the beautiful views of the bay then look across to see Baltimore highlights like the UA facility or Domino Sugar freights. Definitely can't miss these unique twists on classic american pub fare.
Our Favorite Spots: "Todd Conners," "The Waterfront Hotel," "Thames Street Oyster House"
Coming from a foodie who loves to travel, Baltimore's food scene is ahead of most cities in my opinion so don't hesitate when choosing a place to dine. Just jump in "fork & knife ready" and explore.
